BodyMatters is thrilled to announce that we are sponsoring this years 2015 ASDAH Educational Conference. The theme is Difficult Conversations: Building Relationships in the HAES® Community and Beyond. You can view the program preview here.
The conference will take place from July 17 to 19th in Boston, at the Park Plaza Hotel. Some of program includes a performance by Sonya Renee Taylor of The Body is Not an Apology and facilitation by the social justice organization, Rhizome. We highly recommend the conference to everyone!
We do recognise that many of our “followers” are located within Australasia and may find it a bit difficult to travel to the US for this conference. However ASDAH continues to deliver amazing work in educating and shaping culture around size diversity and promotes vital messages around size diversity and health. In particular, you can check out their great work in promoting the health based paradigm here.
