Provisional Psychologist

Andrea is a provisional psychologist who believes that effective therapy hinges on a trusting and collaborative relationship between the therapist and the client.

Andrea is passionate about helping individuals with body image, eating and weight-related concerns, navigate through eating disorder recovery.  She uses treatments with an evidence base, and also believes that treatments should be tailored to meet the individual needs of every client’s unique history, current circumstances, and mental health concerns.

Andrea has experience working in breast cancer and oncology research using interventions to assist with emotional distress, trauma and body shame. She also has experience working   with people with social anxiety, panic disorder, self-esteem issues, and perfectionism.

Andrea currently holds a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) (Honours) and is completing her Masters in Clinical Psychology. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and has a national registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a provisional psychologist.
