Christine is an empathetic and curious therapist who enjoys working with clients and help them function at their optimal best. This means collaboratively exploring what personal, emotional, behavioural and/or situational factors are interfering with their values and goals and supporting clients in making the changes that are important to them. Christine works from a systematic approach that incorporates personal, biological and social factors combined with a person-centered perspective, enabling clients to not only be- but to feel- they are an integral part of their own recovery.
Christine’s interest in psychology stems from her fascination with human behavior and functioning. She is passionate about working with people towards recovery from eating disorders and disordered eating. She has further experience working with a range of other mental health and behavioural issues, including depression, anxiety, addiction, relationship issues as well as work and school stress.
Christine is an Intern Psychologist at BodyMatters. She is working towards obtaining full registration as a Psychologist and is in the final stages of her internship. Christine holds a BA-Psychology (Hons) degree, a Master of Research (Psychology) and a Master of Professional Psychology from Macquarie University. She is an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society.
Christine sees clients on Saturdays.
