Provisional Psychologist
Benjamin is a provisional psychologist who firmly believes in creating a compassionate and person-centred treatment environment. With a strong commitment to empathy and collaboration, Benjamin is dedicated to providing care to individuals from all backgrounds and walks of life. Benjamin graduated with a Bachelor of Psychological Science Honours (Class 1) at the Australian College of Applied Psychology and is currently completing their Master of Professional Psychology at Macquarie University.
Benjamin is particularly passionate about working with LGBTIQA+ and neurodivergent communities. They are devoted to integrating gender-affirming and neuro-affirming care in their practice to ensure members of these populations receive the support they deserve.
Benjamin is currently undergoing training in Enhanced Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E) and Maudsley Family Based Therapy (MFBT). By acquiring these specialized skill sets, they aim to offer comprehensive treatment options to individuals experiencing eating disorders. Benjamin is also a practitioner of the Health at Every Size framework, and understands that it is crucial to implement a holistic approach to treating eating disorders that focuses on overall well-being to foster lasting recovery.
