Hiro strongly believes that a healthy therapeutic relationship is the key to a successful recovery from psychological challenges. She focuses on providing a safe environment for clients to reflect on their issues and explore ways to move forward with a more fulfilling life. She practices several different evidence-based therapy approaches according to client needs including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Radically Open Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (RO-DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Gottman Couple Therapy. Her foundation is a Person-Centred approach.

Her professional interests lie in improving the lives of those who suffer from eating disorders as well as those who silently suffer from an unhealthy relationship between their eating and body image. She is also passionate about improving the mental health of migrants and refugee families.
