Alison has recently completed her Bachelor of Psychological Sciences at University of Newcastle and is commencing her honours program this year. She aims to complete a Masters of Clinical Neuropsychology to become a registered Neuropsychologist. Having a strong passion for mental health, Alison believes that with empathy and a strong support system everyone can have a fulfilled life regardless of the challenges experienced. With an interest in how the brain functions, with eating disorders and body-image related issues, Alison is interested in how the brain reacts and adapts to these challenges. With the aim of becoming a Neuropsychologist, Alison is hoping to contribute to the understanding of how the brain directly affects thoughts, behaviours and feelings in both a research and a clinical setting.
