Yesterday, The Morning Show interviewed co-director Sarah McMahon about Serena Williams’ decision to post a ‘racy’ photo of herself on Twitter, a week after a man was convicted for stalking her. Along with our good friend and social commentator Nina Funnell, as well as the head of the Australian Sex Party Fiona Patten, The Morning Show discuss whether we’re becoming a society of exhibitionists, and whether or not Serena is sending ‘mixed messages’ with her saucy photo. exactly right, they’re asking the wrong question! the focus should definitely be on the stalker. women have a right to walk around naked and not get raped!!
Why did the Morning Show interview three women and not include any men to get their perspective?
@Roger G, who would suggest they get on the show?…Sheik Taj Din al-Hilali?…he could talk about uncovered meat being the problem.
For myself I can understand Serena William wanting to flaunt her body as she does in and out of clothes. From what I have seen of her she nothing much else going for her except her tennis skills and a sizable bank account. I’ll always remember for the way she ripped into a poor lineswoman with her foul mouth…trying to emulate John McEnroe no doubt. When I look at the whole package, her body does nothing for me. I suggest the stalker be given some free vouchers for therapy sessions.
Can I just say what a relief to find someone who truly knows what theyre speaking about on the internet. You undoubtedly know methods to convey a problem to gentle and make it important. Extra individuals must learn this and perceive this side of the story. I cant believe youre not more in style because you undoubtedly have the gift.
Serena Williams is the best hardcourt player in tennis and is seeded 28th at the US Open. Most mis-seeded person in any tournament all-time?
